Client Visits

To gain a full understanding of you your company background and culture, we will visit your company and continue to visit your company throughout our business relationship to nsure we are working to ever changing market trends.

Your Vacancies and Temporary Assignments

We will visit every new client when we take a vacancy and for each new department, meet the team/people our successful candidate will be working for.

We will take a detailed assignment and person specification for each position to help us supply the best temporary to your company.

We will phone every client within 1 hour of working on a vacancy/assignment with an update of suitable candidates and arrange immediate interviews of suitable candidates.

Terms for every vacancy will be agreed and confirmed in writing prior to any interview activity.

We will gain honest and open feed back on the candidates forwarded for interview via a debrief form, involving you in the recruitment process.

We will confirm the Job Description/Specification prior to advertising and all rates and charges are agreed in writing.

In-Depth Selection Process

Careful consideration will be given to deciding the most suitable person for your position through detailed discussiona about the role and company. Ascertaining commitment, enthusiasm and suitability. Matching with your needs and requirements and only submitting a small selection of core candidates per vacancy

For permanent positions, we will NOT put candidates forward if we are aware of any reason why they cannot commit to a permanent position or if we do not feel that they are suitable for your role.

Complete inductions are given covering details of the job and background information about the client, including training on your culture and values. This helps temporary staff appreciate your standards and understand their responsibilities before they start work.

Our Candidates

Candidates will be put through an in-depth interview with ourselves, including questionnaires pertaining to their criminal record and eligibility to work.

We will ascertain their skills, personality, experience and qualifications. Permitting us to learn what they seek most from their next role.

We will prepare them for your interview process, and pre-interview prior to the interview taking place.

We will gain honest feed back using a debrief form and honest feedback from yourselves will be given to the selected candidate.

We will carry out a minimum of two years reference checks before the candidate is put out to work with you.

Quality Management Program

We will measue your satisfaction with our service and quality of staff by conducting face to face Service Reviews, Service Evaluation Forms and management reports

Direct marketing is also used to target potential applicants at companies that are down sizing or relocating .

Direct Interviews

We  believe that direct interviews is a much more effective and time saving method of introducing candidates to our clients rather than the expected procedure of sending a CV.

Granted, a CV is a useful guide that outlines a candidate’s work history and qualifications but the mere format of a CV may not be appealing to you and therefore excellent candidates could be missed. The key points that assist the decision making process includes: i) Personality; ii) Work ethic; iii) Enthusiasm; iv) Presentation; v) Motivations vi) Strengths & Weaknesses etc., all of which cannot be ascertained from a CV.  However CV’s will be forwarded as an aid after the interview has been arranged.

We feel, therefore, it is important we gain your trust in our ability so you value our opinion as this will help develop a much improved working relationship.

Additional Services

We are happy to provide assistance with putting together a job specification and person specification, advise on competency based interviewing Market Knowledge – salary scales, skills sectors Legislation Advise – regular emailed information on legislation, HR issues etc.

We will phone on the first day of applicants commencing employment and conduct service visits to ensure both candidate and client are happy and to ensure our high service levels are maintained.

We can also advise on local salary levels and local economy issues.

Remote Recruitment

In locations where we have little or no branch representation you will be given the option of a “remote recruitment” service. In this instance, we would strictly adhere to the same procedures but we would be unable to meet the candidate face to face.

Unfortunately due to the market increase in employment agencies and the competitive nature of our business some agencies may compromise their service in a bid to get ‘bums on seats’ before their competitors. The client, at this stage may be extremely impressed by the response of the agency but the likelihood of the candidate being successful or staying with the company is greatly reduced.

Recruitment is not just about sending CV’s and hoping for the best, this is why Hcs  does not work this way.
